Long May You Run
Dear Band Bus,
it is time to say good bye. After more then one decade rockin' with you, we had to bring you to your grave today.
We know how much you loved to ride. We had so many great trips together. Every trip was very special. Do you remember, how many times you broke down, just before the show, you fuckin' fuck? Or how many time we had to refill your cooling systems with 0,2 litre water bottles, originally planned for killing next day's hangover? Anyway, for all of us, it was an unforgettable experience.
We took lots of other trips, too. Just remember, as - for a change - you broke down in Sweden, and we had to leave you over there for a few days, and while we were in the hotel, waiting for a car to rent and watching b-movie-porns, the only thing you did was getting robbed. Brilliant.
As far as we know, there aren't any children caused by you and your fantastic big back trunk, but a lot of times you were there to give us the freedom we needed in those moments.
We really miss you.
That's us, folks. That's our beautiful car and us. That's our life together. We lived hard. We rode free. We got everything out of each day.
Long May You Run
Weve been through some things together
With trunks of memories still to come
We found things to do in stormy weather
Long may you run.
Long may you run.
Although these changes have come
With your chrome heart shining in the sun
Long may you run.
Maybe the beach boys have got you now
With those waves singing caroline no
Rollin down that empty ocean road
Gettin to the surf on time.

Weve been through some things together
With trunks of memories still to come
We found things to do in stormy weather
Long may you run.
Long may you run.
Although these changes have come
With your chrome heart shining in the sun
Long may you run.
Maybe the beach boys have got you now
With those waves singing caroline no
Rollin down that empty ocean road
Gettin to the surf on time.
